| ARL developed ShipConstructor,
an easy-to-use 3D Product-Modelling software for the design
and fabrication of complete ships and offshore structures.
In 2002, ARL Asia has proven that AutoCAD users with only
two weeks training can readily make use of ShipConstructor
to build $200M oil rigs. ARL released ShipConstructor2005
to enhance of functions in AutoCAD2005/6. It will handle
all 3D modeling of ship design including hull-fairing,
lofting, structure, piping, penetrations, HVAC, outfitting,
fully automatic plate nesting and CNC-coding; all integrated
with an SQL database for easy project management and communication
with any other database systems. |
